3pm Special: Allagash White battered onion rings

onion rings

It’s always tough, in New England, at this time of the year.  Not much is in season and local. We look to these times, to highlight either ingredients from other regions, like citrus or tropical fruits, or to play with other ingredients that are available year round, like onions and beer.

I love onion rings. Let us know what you think. Launching today at all Clover locations.

Had some of these at Dewey today, wow! Likely the best onion rings I’ve ever had

Tried the onions rings at HUB on Friday evening, 3/8/13. The coating was very thick and bread-y. I prefer thin/crispy/flaky/tempura coating on onion rings.

We didn’t cook your order long enough – emailing you offline to get you a replacement.

    Thanks so much!

Got them at MIT on Monday. They were delicious. I liked that the batter was not too crispy or thin, which made the rings feel less greasy.
