I’ve lived in New England (CT) my whole life and grew up eating apple pie this time of year. So I was really excited that I got to work on the roll-out of the apple rings in the 3pm special slot. Here’s the step where we dredge the apple rings in cinnamon and sugar.

Just got an order of these rings ~15 min ago at the MIT food truck – while one of the apple pieces inside was really juicy and tasty, the other three rings didn’t have as much apple. They were all sadly over-fried and those three only tasted of oil and ‘burnt’. Perhaps reduce the frying time a bit?
