Potato, mustard, dill salad

By rolando October 15, 2011

We have an awesome potato salad recipe that my wife, Heather, influenced. It has cilantro, red peppers, mayo. We call it potato salad on the menu board.

Some customers were asking for one without mayo. So I was thinking about German-style potato salad, which has whole grain mustard, pickles, dill. It has boiled red potatoes, and we swapped out the mayo for a vinaigrette, added dill instead of cilantro, and some chopped pickles. We’ll run the potato, mustard, dill again next week. Let us know what you think.

Oh and the photo is a view from the kitchen of Holyoke Street at Harvard Square some recent morning.  You can stop and watch us cook.
