Our rotating spot next door to the HUB welcomed it’s first business Friday. Travis (holding his little pickle in this picture) is going to be selling our favorite pickled stuff for the next 3 months in that spot. We couldn’t be more excited for them.
We’re going to use this spot as an experimental platform to help build new businesses. I have this idea of changing the tenant every day of the week. Saturday bread, Sunday Pickles, Monday beeswax candles, Tuesday a bike builder, etc. It would change week to week and seasonally. We’ll have to see how it works. We’re calling it “the bakery” internally and the criteria is that tenants must make the stuff they are selling.
Can’t find an example of anybody doing anything like this. Hope it works!
