This is a message I shared with our employees the other day. I think it’s really important to our company and thought I would share it with all of you wholesale.
It’s embarrassing how long I’ve been working on our packaging for Whole Foods. I think we started thinking about this when they first approached us over 2 years ago.
I remember when I used to apologize for our food screw-ups daily. That doesn’t happen anymore, thankfully.
Food Dev at Clover happens every Tuesday at 3pm. Everybody is welcome to join. Bring something for us to try, or just bring your taste buds.
Ethiopian coffees are back into the rotation at Clover. We loved this one from Seattle roaster Kuma when we tasted it a few Food Dev meetings ago.
Enzo has been begging Phil to come into the kitchen and develop a Clover sandwich. If you don’t know Phil Tang, he’s one of the best chefs in the city.
We’ve only allowed a few decaf coffees into our grinders and this is one of our favorites.
This week we launch the Pimento Cheese Sandwich. This was the first sandwich ever championed by an employee – me, back in 2010 when I was a team leader on the first MIT truck.
Most of my ideas come to me when I’m not thinking. Like asleep, or spaced out. I don’t know what it says about me, or the ideas, but this one was awesome.
