A CSA, or farmshare, is a relationship between you and a local farmer. You pay up-front during the spring, and in exchange you get a share of the harvest, all summer long. CSAs were first invented by Booker T. Whately and were popularized here in Massachusetts. They are the best economic model for small farms – and the most delicious way for you to eat! Since 2010 we’ve dedicated a portion of our restaurants to CSA pickups.

How it Works
Step 1: Choose a farm and day of the week.
We have 6 of our favorite New England farms participating this year, each dropping off on a different weekday. Pick a farm you love, or choose a day of the week that works best for you.
Tech note: CSA signups are occurring through the Clover app. You can only place an order for a CSA during the operating hours of your specific Clover because that’s when the online ordering site is live.
Step 2: Pick a Clover location & a share type
How much produce would you like? Each farm offers different size options, crop bundles, and share frequencies.
There are also smaller shares like Mushrooms, Flowers, and even a Forest Farmshare (with home delivery).
Choose the option that works best for you or your family.
Step 3: Return to Clover for your bounty
Once your order is placed, we’ll send your farmer the money (we don’t take a cut of the proceeds except a tiny fee we use to print posters – we are happy to do this!)
Once you’ve signed up, your farm will be in contact with you a few weeks before the start of the season for pick-up dates and any other info about what’s coming each week in your share. Now for the hardest part: waiting for Summer to come : )

FAQ’s
Contents vary based on the type of farm and the weather of the particular summer. For produce farms, generally you’ll get greens, alliums, radishes, etc. during the first few weeks. Maybe some strawberries if you got a share with fruit. Mid-summer you’ll see zucchini, summer squash, herbs, and more. Late summer will likely be tomatoes, eggplant, corn. And in the fall you’ll get winter squash, pumpkins, maybe cauliflower. To see sizing and photos, click on a farm in the Clover App.

Typically for produce farms, shares run from the first/second week of June to the second/third week of October, but this can vary depending on weather and share type.
If you don’t see your location listed beneath the farm, it is not dropping off at that location.
Please be sure you are clicking during a time when the Clover location is open! And be sure you’re scrolling down past the food and drinks. Because this is run through our online ordering system, you can only see items (and farmshares) when the Clover location is open for the day.
You will need to send a friend to pick it up for you. We can’t hold shares overnight due to health code – so if you do not get your share by the time we close, we will donate it or send it home with a Clover staff member.

- Our Spring Subscription will run for 4 consecutive weeks, beginning in mid-April, and running through mid-May. Each week, members will receive one abundant bunch of our most special and hard-won spring flowers. Think ranunculus, French tulips, anemones, and specialty narcissus! $188
- 3 Month Summer Share (6/19 – 8/14)
- Our Summer Subscription will run from June through August, with a bouquet delivered once a month to our members. Each month, members will receive one abundant bunch of our most special summer blooms. $178
- 5 Week Dahlia Share (8/29 – 9/26)
- Our Dahlia Subscription will run for 5 consecutive weeks, beginning the week of August 28th 2023 and will offer members one abundant bunch of our field’s most premium dahlias! In 2023, we will proudly plant more than seven thousand dahlias, and our members will receive the most special cuts every week! $228
- 3 Month Autumn & Winter Share (10/3 – 12/12)
- Our Autumn & Winter Subscription will run from October through December, with a seasonal bouquet delivered once a month to our members. Members can expect to receive an abundant bunch of fresh Dahlias in October, an Everlasting Dried Flower Bouquet in November, and a large bundle of local evergreens, winter berries, and dried flowers in December. $168
- 2023 All Season Share (4/18 – 12/12)
- Our 2023 ALL SEASON Subscription will allow members to truly experience the entire season on the farm. From ranunculus & anemones in the Spring, to summer Lisianthus & Delphinium, to September Dahlias, to Autumnal dried flowers, and to winter evergreens, this subscription will provide the ultimate “wow factor”! $688
