Clover LMA opens full days Monday 10/3/2011

Ok, Longwood Medical Area, we owe you a big explanation. We were supposed to open your truck this week. The reason we didn’t open is… napkins. We’re required to have napkins with our logo printed on them. It’s part of some effort to track the trash that restaurants produce. We weren’t allowed to open until we proved that we have these napkins.

But the wait is over. Longwood will open Monday 8am-8pm. We’ll be parked on the corner of Blackfan and Louis Pasteur. Sara will be running this truck. So if you work or live in the area, come by, let her pour you a coffee, and meet the crew. We’re planning a little coffee and cider donuts event to apologize to you all about our late open. Look out for that mornings week 2 or 3.

How to get a Passover Box from Clover

New sandwich launching: meet The Buffalo!

We have a new sandwich out everywhere today. It’s a take on a Buffalo Chicken sandwich. We use celery root, aka celeriac, this nobbly, gnarled joy of a winter vegetable. We cut it into planks, batter it with panko, and fry it. We’re getting ours from Norwich Meadows Farm, a farm in NY state that’s known for creating really flavorful organic veggies using a cool irrigation system.
