That’s a wedding outside our truck window. This summer we’ve been lucky enough to be a part of weddings of customers. Megan’s putting it all together and making some beautiful events. We get to experience things like: big butcher boards for cheese wheels, mini whoopie pies instead of wedding cakes, and formally dressed customers.
This picture is from our first wedding of 11 we have scheduled this summer. The truck was parked in the middle of the woods in the bride’s backyard in Western Mass. It stormed the entire drive out. But the sky cleared just in time for the ceremony. We served appetizers, dinner, dessert, and late night treats. We were pouring coffee and making blueberries and cream while people were dancing and playing with sparklers.
A bunch of the guests were family friends of mine, so I was a nervous wreck the entire time. But everything turned out well. I didn’t experience this myself, but apparently as the truck pulled away around midnight, everyone on the dance floor turned around and clapped. More pictures after the break. Sorry, they’re not the best; we’ll bring better cameras to future weddings.
