Michael Sutton is the GM at Clover Burlington. He’s also a Burlington native, which means that unlike me, he always has the chance to run into someone from his childhood.
Today a group came in. It was Mike’s Home-Ec teacher! She was so proud of the store and what Michael is accomplishing. She said, “He was my shining star!” She came in with Mike’s pre-school teacher, and his high school Spanish teacher!
I asked Mike what her name was. He said, “Mrs. Arcand. Actually it’s Margie, I found out that for the first time today!”
