Remember when I got in trouble for putting up posters about our beer launch?
There were posters everywhere in Naples and Sicily. They were pasted up on the ancient city walls whenever someone died. The person’s name, how old they were when they died, and the surviving relatives. Printed up by the city, or maybe by the funeral home. I thought it was really beautiful/eerie that they would announce these deaths so publicly.
I found this poster in Siracusa. It wasn’t as beautiful as the death notices, but I had to take a picture. Guess what it’s advertising? A beer event!
