Sara here. Going to start posting. If you eat at the LMA truck, you might already know me. If not, introduce yourself. We want to track LMA’s adventures from the start.
I started working for Clover 1 year ago, I learned the ins and outs of the trucks with Enzo and Lucia, and here I am learning how to run my own at LMA. I’m so excited by how many of you are coming by. Day 1 of apple fritters at LMA, I think we sold 3. Mid-week, a group, no- a swarm of you showed up at 2:58pm and bought up every last fritter. We’re having a great time getting to know all of you – that is my favorite part of this whole thing.
Want to know something sort of fun? A few months back while I was an hourly employee at MIT, Enzo called me while I was at home in CA and asked me if I’d drive the new Clover truck from Ohio to Boston. Those two days were pretty crazy. I flew from CA to Boston to Pittsburgh and then took a small plane to Dayton, Ohio. A man from the dealership picked me up at the airport, we drove an hour in his minivan to the bright blue truck. It took me 14.5 hours to drive to Pawtucket, where Rolando picked me up and where this picture was taken. John Lee was sending me emails the whole time with titles like “re-route.” That truck (plus some white paint and some ovens and stuff) is the same one that you see sitting on Blackfan St today.
