I remember exactly the moment we started celebrating May the 4th (“May the Force” be with you). We were on a planning call about meal boxes and we were talking about how we were going to launch our Taco Tuesday program on Cinco de Mayo (May the 5th). Chris accidentally said “May the 4th” and Ayr said, “May the 4th! We should do a Star Wars Box!”
3 years later we’re still celebrating. We delivered May the 4th meal boxes far and wide (with some extra-specially-named add-ons this year due to Kiernan’s love of Star Wars.) Bantha meat gyros, blue milk, pizza pita planets, Millenium Fal’corn, a Cantina cocktail kit, and Baby Yoda pancakes (dyed green using spinach).
Customers were texting us pictures all day. And Lizzie and Lindsay headed to CloverKND to pass out Yoda Soda to all.
My greatest shame is that I have never seen a Star Wars movie all the way through. A lot of people are very angry about this. I am hoping to remedy this by the time next year’s May the 4th comes around. If you see me next week let me know which movie I should watch first.
