CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. You fork over money now, farmers use it to plant crops, and when the summer comes, you get a share of the harvest each week.
We’re offering our Inman Square restaurant free as a CSA drop-off for five of our favorite farms (Marshall Farm, Lindentree Farm, The Food Project, Drumlin Farm, and Red Fire Farm). One farm per weekday. Sign-ups have been insane. We’ve been printing new sheets to keep up. One farm is a couple slots away from filling up entirely.
A bunch of you have been asking about specifics. So we decided to have a big party on Friday 2/24, open to everyone – customers, staff, neighbors. All 5 farmers will be there, so you can meet them, ask questions, sign up for shares if you haven’t already done so, and see the space where all the tomatoes, hot peppers, and corn will be dropped come summertime.
