Yesterday our POS (point of sale) system was down. Something about a server availability issue in our area. You can ask Antony more if you’re interested, he was furiously working on getting it fixed.
But this meant for a few hours we were back to Clover circa 2009: pen and paper. I was working at Harvard Square. Franklin was taking orders, Sarah and I were expediting at the counter. Sorry if it took longer, and was more confusing, for you to get your food.
It was actually kind of cool to expedite orders right by the counter. I felt a little more connected to what was going on behind the counter. The POS came back on after a few hours, and it should be up and running now (and forever, we hope).
