I was shopping at the Somerville Winter Market and came across this mushroom farmer from Rhode Island. I started to buy from him and realized how good a mushroom could be. I would sear them in a hot cast-iron skillet and add them to tacos. I was talking to one of my interns, Will, and he suggested we do a Mushroom CSA. We got to talking and decided to do it. I started talking to Mike who runs the company.
We’re going to start buying for the Clover menu. Mike’s going to get us Blue Oysters and Yellow Oysters to play around with. Mushroom sandwich ideas anyone?
