After 23 days at sea, the pita oven arrived from the Middle East. I bet this oven has seen more in its life than I ever will. Soon it’s going to be responsible for making 1000 pitas every hour in the early morning Cambridge light.
We almost had to remove the doors of the kitchen to fit it in. My sister said we should have broken a bottle of champagne over the nose of the oven as it arrived. More pictures after the break, including a pita chute that resembles a water slide.Â
