Can you believe the snow last week? The last time I remember New England got this much snow was 8 years ago, I was a sophomore at JWU and school was closed for 2 days. When we decided that the trucks were going to be closed Wednesday, we decided to have a little snow day at Harvard. We did cookies and hot chocolate for anyone coming in out of the storm. Italian cookies are a big tradition in my family, so I made one of my of mom’s favorites from when I was a kid (snowballs).
Ayr asked me to take pictures and post notes on the recipe via Twitter, something we’ve been playing around with doing when we’re making up a new recipe. Classic snowballs have walnuts, I added pistachios instead and cocoa powder. Hope you guys enjoyed the snow.
