Pouring right now at a Clover near you is this Bolivian coffee, roasted by Derek, down in Plymouth, MA. This coffee is super easy to drink. It’s a mild coffee, with a slightly sweet fruity taste, and a smooth finish.
It comes from a cooperative farming system with smallholder farmers, all chipping in to contribute to the production of the local area, called Sud Yungas valley. The coffee is grown at a very high altitude (1,500 – 1,800 meters). The beans are fully washed and then dried in the sun on raised drying tables. Another cool thing about this coffee is that the coffee plants are shaded with companion native mandarin and orange trees. No chemical pesticides or fertilizers are used in the region.
