We’ve been having blind-tastings of coffee at manager meetings lately. We taste 7 coffees every meeting, and write down notes about each. These might be different coffees within certain roasters we are thinking of bringing on, or they might be different preparations (correct and incorrect grind sizes, quantities, cold brew vs pour-over, grocery store brands, really expensive coffee, etc). I’ve written down words like “firecracker, manure, decaying attic” and a lot of the word “YUMMY.”
