If you’ve been by DWY in the afternoon you probably recognize Tyler. Krysta calls him Goldilocks because of his long blond hair. He found us when he was camping out at Occupy Boston next to our truck, and wanted to know if he could help out. Since then he’s been my closer and training up to become a Team Leader by working afternoons, driving the truck to refuel, and cleaning it each night.
Tyler came to Boston from an island off the coast of Washington state to go to Berklee and plays upright bass. He’s really into the environment and helped start a co-op house in Lower Allston a few years ago. He’s been doing an awesome job here and I’m really proud to have him as part of my crew.
I made a joke recently asking if he’d shave his beard for Clover. If beards get too long, Serv-Safe will make you wear a beard-guard. He responded, “You mean shave my beard for my livelihood?” When he came in on Monday, we barely recognized him. This photo is pre-shave. Stop by to see what he looks like now.
