This past Friday Enzo out did himself. He’s been chief architect of the whoopie pie factory at Harvard Square on Friday evenings. They’re getting a little crazy. I was upstairs when I took this picture and all I could hear around me was MMMMMM. See that box, he was starting to get requests for boxes full. They were really absurdly good. It’s fun for me to watch this grow, given I’ve had almost nothing to do with it.
This week’s take was toasted almond with brown butter. You could smell the brown butter throughout the restaurant. Nobody but Enzo knows what is next. But I did tell Enzo that next week it needs to pair with beer.
