John Hong and Jinhee Park of Single Speed Designs have finalized the drawings for the truck, just in time for the body shop. More drawings after the break.
I really wanted a flush look for the windows, and I think we’re going to have a great solution. We’re building small frames around the cut-outs and going to have the glass shop use structural silicone to mount safety glass. I think it’s going to look awesome. The top line is going to flow around the entire truck (the top of the side windows will match the top of the rear windows).
And the body shop guy, who I think is going to be great, had the idea to use the counter up front to help reinforce that wall. I think that will work great. I’m planning on a very thick, very wide piece of wood that slides out on rails. It’s going to be awesome.
