I met with Denise the other day, of the Harvard Square Business Association. There’s a ton of interesting history in Harvard Square, I’m slowly learning about it. The building we’re moving into, the Holyoke Center, was the center of a lot of controversy back when it was being built.

Denise coordinates all sorts of things in the Square. You can read their website to learn more. Events, meetings, committees, etc. I wrote a check, and now we’re officially members (though I requested that for now we keep any promotion/ posted information to a minimum).

This is a picture of the view from Denise’s office. It’s in a building managed by Gatz Associates. They manage most of the cooler retail in Harvard Square. The entire square only has a handful of landlords.
