… about maple syrup before, wait until this week is over. We’re getting ready for our first ever Clover event this Sunday, at the truck. It’s going to be beautiful out, we’re going to have the best pancakes in the world, awesome maple syrup, corn fritters (I have a killer recipe), and pickles.
So here I’m kicking off a series of posts about my inspiration. Where I grew up there were sugar-shacks. Little shacks used once a year when the sap was flowing. Some served pancakes. My favorite is South Face Farm (pictured above). They serve weekends for the month of March. That’s it. It’s hard to find, the lines are always long, you eat on paper plates, and it is one of the things I look forward to all year long.
