– cumin (we start with whole seeds, but ground cumin will also work in a pinch)
– tahini (we love Soom)

Episode 16 – Potato leek soup & soda bread

Soup ingredients:
– 1 onion
– 3 cloves garlic
– 1 bunch chives (or equivalent amount of chopped leek)
– 2 bay leaves
– 1 tsp thyme
– 4 potatoes
– 4 branches kale
– salt to taste
– vinegar to taste
– oil or shortening
Soda bread ingredients:
– 3 cups soft flour
– 1 cup AP flour
– 1 tsp salt
– 1.5 tsp baking soda
– 2 cups buttermilk
– 1 cup raisins
