Because the MBTA was closed for the storm yesterday none of our employees could get to work and we shut the place down. But we have a lot of work to do to prepare for truck operations. So Rolando, Jake, and I met up at the restaurant last night to get some work done. Rolando brought his wife Heather and his kids, and everybody pitched in.
We opened the doors while we were prepping and invited people from the street into the restaurant. We didn’t have the full menu but I fired up the fryer and we sold french fries, coffee, lemonade, and beer. I didn’t have the money belts out etc. so we did a bunch of IOUs.
This is a picture of a group of Harvard freshmen who came by to check everything out. We normally have a full menu, small but full menu. Really. Hope you guys come back.
