You know that feeling when you really like somebody and then find out they like you a lot too? That’s how it felt when Marathon Sports reached out to us about a collaboration.
I had plantar fasciitis a few years back. I won’t go on about it, but suffice to say it was terrible. After suffering for a while, I went into Marathon Sports. They helped me understand the differences in how various running shoes are constructed, and encouraged me to move up a shoe size to create more space for my feet. The fasciitis went away. And I feel so, so thankful.
Most of our meal box collaborations so far have been with food businesses, but we have a few non-food businesses coming up, starting with Marathon Sports!
It probably feels like the pandemic is pushing you towards a Zappos or an Amazon, but here’s a little plea to keep your $ in town. I think we’re a better community with shops like Marathon.
The first 300 people to place a 2- or 4-person meal box order for next week (delivery/pickup on 2/16, 2/18, or 2/20) will get a 20% off coupon for Marathon Sports tucked inside their box.
We’re expecting these to go fast! But really, I hope everybody buys from them with or without a coupon. Go Boston!
Need some box recommendations? The Snowed In Box is so yummy right now. Pushpir box (aka Winter Seasonal) just hit. And if it’s a first-time thing for you, I’d recommend the Starter Box.
