This May has been a time of anticipation. The soil is warming, but the rain has been incessant. Despite the rain, seedlings are beginning to peek up out of the ground, and that can only mean one thing: CSA signups are live! Don’t miss out on deliveries of produce straight from a farm to your nearest Clover. Signups END the first week of June, so you’ve got just under a month to pick a farm you love, choose a Clover location and day that works for your schedule, and take the plunge into a summer of better eating, and a true partnership with a local farmer.
If you are on the fence about signing up, let us tempt you with a little something…
This year, we’ve teamed up with WBUR to host our Meet the Farmer Event. It’s free, and open to all. We’ll have snacks and a sleeves-up panel discussion led by Andrea Shae, a senior arts reporter at WBUR. The fun is happening at that cool new CitySpace over by BU. Get this on your calendar and join us. Even if you’ve already signed up for a share, this is a great chance to meet the folks who will be working hard all summer to grow your food, and have a real discussion about where this whole CSA thing is headed, not just in our city, but beyond.
Tickets are free, but we’re told spots may be limited, so be sure to sign up!
