We have 1 office at Clover. For the past 6 months it has been a storeroom. We were running 5 trucks out the HSQ, something we’d never thought possible. And it meant the office, the hallway, everything that wasn’t a fire exit had to become a store room. And we still were too tight.
So while the excitement at the HUB most directly impacts the folks in East Cambridge, we’re feeling great about the changes here as well. The office is back. I can’t tell you how nice that is.
Those posters on the wall, those are from previous events we’ve done. You might know we don’t do any paid advertising, but I’ve always loved bulletin boards, and when I was at MIT posters were a critical way for the community to communicate current happenings. Posters also played important roles in other cool times in history (think Bay Area music in the mid-1960s, almost any revolution since the printing press, etc.). So we make up a poster every time we have an event. They’re cheap and fun, but we’re learning that Cambridge doesn’t like them (more on that soon).
