John was helping today. We’re going to get this awning thing built. Konrad turned us onto these things called “pillow bearings.” They help us make the odd joints at the curved portion of the awning work, and aren’t too expensive. That’s what John is installing here.
We had an upholsterer, Andy, come by today to talk to us about options for the fabric for the awning. He’s pretty excited about the project, and going to take it on. We’re thrilled. Another mark for Bernardston. Seems like we’ve found all our great help and guidance back in Western Mass. Boston has felt slow, dumb, shifty, and expensive for the most part. (I’m talking electrical, fabrication, body work, etc.)
