I’ve been working to figure out signage for Kendall. Our new Clover sign that looks so awesome in Burlington and Brookline doesn’t really work for the city. So we’re trying to figure out what to do. This picture was taken while I was working on ideas. The one you see there doesn’t really work. But it shows some early sketches of the colored window segments we’re going to play with.

The latest ideas are to integrate the signage with some outdoor seating. I think this could be really exciting. We’re waiting to hear back from the City of Cambridge on an outdoor seating application, so it’ll be a bit before I know if this is going to work.

Needless to say we’re going to open without our permanent signage in place. Day 1 I think we’ll use the windows to let you know it’s Clover.
