I’ve only done this twice in the past: Today I fired a customer.

This super aggressive guy came in (details follow):

“What is this?”- him

“We make food and hope people buy and eat it.” – me

“How long have you been here?” – him

“3 months or so. We’re pretty new” – me

“That girl over there” (jerking his head at Antoria) “She’s ridiculous.” – him

“Ridiculous? Do you mean Antoria?” – me

“Yeah, that girl with the red shirt” (pointing at Antoria). “She’s just talking to customers. She’s talking about everything. It doesn’t even have to do with food. She’s RIDICULOUS!” – him

“Have you been waiting long?” – me (I’d been watching the line, I knew he hadn’t been there longer than 30-45 seconds).

“No. I haven’t been waiting long. But that’s not the point. She’s talking to them about everything.” – him

“That’s Antoria. She works for me. She’s doing exactly what I what I want her to be doing. I think it would be best if you left.”
