I have this growing feeling that Clover is about to transform.
I’m not sure when I started feeling this, it might have been a background sense a couple of months ago. I did a bunch of customer research for Order Ahead Beta end of November/ early December, and that probably had a huge impact. It’s no longer a foggy sense, but strong feeling.
I know about myself that I can’t always explain clearly what I know. And that when I get a clear vision of the future I can trust it to become real.
We’re doing so much right now that is working so well. We just reviewed 2016 sales numbers and we hit new records. We’re on a great track for 2017. Clover has the most amazing managers ever. And our staff are incredible. Food is better than it has ever been. There is so much that feels so good.
But we’re just getting started.
So I’m now trying to figure out how to explain that feeling clearly. That’s 2017 planning. This week we’re deep into planning. And it’s big, and ambitious. And it’s specific and detailed. I’ll share some of that stuff over the coming weeks here on the website.
(That’s Violet, my youngest. She came to work with me Monday. She’s a reminder of why we work so hard. Our world belongs to future generations. I want her to share the beauty of our natural world with future generations. This is a special time in history. The coming 50 years might determine more permanently the future of the natural world than any period in history. I’m talking about global warming and other human impact on climate/ environment. We need to make sacrifices and inspire others to do the same. Let’s reduce our environmental footprint by eating yummy food! And Violet says the orange juice is something we shouldn’t change in 2017.)
